The Return of Brock Lesnar

The Return of Brock Lesnar

So by now you have probably heard the news that WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar is returning to the UFC. If not, GREAT - you heard it hear first then! Lesnar (4-3 UFC) is scheduled to fight Mark Hunt (7-4-1 UFC) as the co-main event at UFC 200 on July 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This should make for an interesting contest. Lesnar has been criticised for wilting under the pressure of formidable strikers in the past such as Alistair Overeem and Cain Velasquez. If that is indeed the case, he is definitely going to have his hands full with Hunt, who is known for his heavy hands and punching power. Hunt is of course is very aware of this fact as he is also known for his walk away KO's (feel free to Google it for highlights).

Lesnar on the other hand is a beast of man who can wrestle. I don't mean WWE wrestling either. He was an NCAA D1 wrestler with a record of 106–5 overall in four years of college. That is pretty impressive! Once he takes you down, he will most likely keep you there as he rains down blow after blow until the round ends or the fight is stopped.

So what do you think? Anybody out there excited to see the return of Brock Lesnar? Or do you think his best days are behind him and he should've stayed retired?

Lesnar talks about his return to the UFC below.
